Take 5 Oil Change® and Meineke Car Care Centers®, as a part of the Driven Brands family of automotive aftermarket brands, were named No. 1 in the Fast Lube category for the National Oil and Lube News 2020 “Tops in the Industry” rankings.
Take 5 Oil Change has seen amazing growth since being acquired by Driven Brands in March 2016. At the time of the acquisition, Take 5 Oil Change had 65 stores. They now have more than 500 stores through a combination of acquisition, franchise and company-owned stores.
Meineke Car Care Centers, a long-standing brand with high brand recognition and a robust operational playbook, has become a cutting-edge, technology-driven company over the past few years, providing both franchisees and customers with the tools for better communication, education, and transparency throughout the repair process.
“Both Take 5 Oil Change and Meineke’s service models center around creating a great customer experience,” said Ted Rippey, Vice President of Development for Driven Brands. “Take 5 Oil Change has always been about convenience and a fast, efficient stay-in-your-car oil change. Meineke is probably one of the first national brands to introduce digital inspections, which provides customers with better communication, photos and diagnostic results right to their phone through text or email.”
Both Take 5 Oil Change and Meineke Car Care Centers are actively seeking single-unit and multi-unit franchise owners to expand the brand’s footprint.
